Unveiled at IFA 2013, this personal grooming advisor was a digital innovation. It incorporated a beard simulator that let you see 22 different grooming styles on your face.
Brief : To create a connected app that could act as a personal grooming advisor for men.
Approach : Collaborating with UX teams and the Philips product and development teams, we wanted the UI and UX of the app to have a more editorial style look and feel. I persuaded the client to reshoot all of their existing grooming photography. This involved setting the art direction, selecting 22 models and working alongside photographers to create a consistent images that encapsulated a natural feel inkeeping with the Philips brand. The app used expert advice, on-trend tips, inspirational how-to videos and beard simulator to produce the ultimate personal grooming guide for men.
